WILLIAM J. HARTNAGEL, ESQ. INCOME TAX RELIEF ATTORNEY

The most important part of the offer in compromise process is the completion of certain financial affidavits.  These affidavits outline your current income and expenditures as well as your total assets and debts.  Based upon the above, you may be able to prove to the Internal Revenue an inability to pay your taxes due to fiancial hardship.

Additionally

In certain instances, the underlying tax may not be due or it mayhave been calculated by means of incorrect data.  Often an examination of the underlying proposed deficiency by the Internal Revenue Service may help reduce tax due immediately.
